Mental Health & Wellness Fair

When
April 29
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The Mighty6 office is ending April with a bang and kicking off Mental Health Month! On April 29, 2023, I am excited to partner with Atlanta City Councilwoman, At-Large Keisha L. Waites, and Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities to host the Second Annual Mental Health & Wellness Fair. We invite you to be a part of this FREE community event.
Our mental health includes our emotional, psychological, physical, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
This community event provides Fulton County residents and guests with the opportunity to enjoy a day filled with fun while emphasizing the importance of youth and adult mental health and wellness. This year’s event will be held at Greenbriar Mall, 2841 Greenbriar Pkwy SW, Atlanta, GA 30331. Attendees will enjoy FREE resources including, games for children, prizes and giveaways, community-based resources, interactive fitness activities, health screenings, and more. Stakeholders planning to provide giveaways are advised to abide by all laws and regulations. This event is anticipated to reach 500+ attendees. Because this is a FREE event serving Fulton County residents, we are especially grateful for local vendors/organizations, like you, who are willing to share their programs and services at no cost for the benefit of the community.
Due to this being an outdoor event, we have scheduled May 20th for the rain date. Our team will review the weather forecast 10 and 5 days prior to the event. The decision to move forward or postpone will be announced 5 days prior to the event.
To further discuss your possible participation or for further information on this exciting event. Please contact, Sequoia Kirby, Director of Administration & Community Affairs at 678.428.0765.
Thank you for supporting our community!
This event is FREE to the public and will take place at the former Macy’s parking Lot.
