Women Engaged National Voter Registration Day
When
September 17
2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Each year Women Engaged participates in National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) with our partner organizations to get people registered in enough time to be eligible to vote in the Fall elections. Join Women Engaged and our community partners for food, games, fun, and education based FREE event, dedicated to celebrating the strength of our communities and highlighting the issues that inspire our collective engagement.
For 10 years, our teams have registered over 2,000 voters, and our commitment ensures that these individuals not only get on the rolls but also turn out to vote. With 85% of those we register participating in the next election, our fact-based, non-partisan information empowers communities to make their voices heard at the ballot box and beyond.
At the event, you can register on-site and check your voter status. Those who participate in our training will enjoy food from Local Green and receive a certificate. Explore opportunities with amazing community vendors, discover employment and volunteer options, and more.
We will also have a sensory play space for young people, joined by an occupational therapist. (Adult supervision is required)
