Greenbriar Mall

About the Mall

Greenbriar Mall opened in 1965 in the Greenbriar neighborhood of southwest Atlanta. Designed by the famed architect John Portman, Greenbriar Mall was one of the region’s first enclosed malls and the birthplace of the modern food court concept. Local Atlanta businessman S. Truett Cathy took his famed chicken sandwiches served at his Dwarf House in nearby Hapeville and opened his first Mall Chick-fil-A in Greenbriar Mall in 1967.

Greenbriar Mall features many unique specialty stores and service type businesses.
